The new Ryerson building on Gould and Church, Gould Street part. In spite of the fact that the building is covered by glass, it gives a very somber and gloomy atmosphere to this corner. Behind it is an old building where the fire brigade used to be and that has been converted into lofts. On the first floor is a big Dominion store, in spite of their grandiose claims, not exactly the best source for the freshest foods, but very convenient because they are open 24/7 (with the exception of official holidays when they close down like most of the big chains).
